Appleby Castle Valley
In a valley of Northern England, an enchanting castle sits majestically overlooking a tree-filled landscape with the River Eden flowing through. In the dark of the night there are rumours that the castle is restless with roaming spirits from the 12th century. During the day time explore the grounds, spot the red squirrels and stroll along the castle walls. The scenery was no doubt a literary inspiration for Beatrix Potter and William Wordsmith.
