Update 25th June 2020

We have had lots of messages about our cleaning procedures & if the toilet/shower blocks will be open come 4th July.

We would like to take this time to assure you that we are working extremely hard behind the scenes to put procedures in place, including extra cleaning and social distancing measures.

We will be using something called a Vivid™ Fogging Machine when cleaning our holiday homes and facilities on site.
This uses a high performance, ready-to-use solution. On application to a surface, it kills microbes within minutes creating an anti-microbial barrier, enabling a higher and increased level of protection to be built up on a surface over time.

Proven to kill 99.99% of enveloped viruses (such as COVID-19) and non-enveloped viruses within minutes of contact.
Proven to be highly effective against both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, as well as bacteria, bacterial spores and fungi.

We will be operating a one way system on the park and will have signs around to help with social distancing. A contact-less check in & check out process has been put in place for peace of mind also.

Thank you

Update 23rd June 2020

We are so excited to announce that we will be opening our parks on 4th July

Update 17th June 2020

Firstly, and most importantly we hope you and your family are well and staying safe. We are really looking forward to re-opening our parks and welcoming all our seasonal touring customers back, however these are strange and challenging times for us all.

Following recent government guidelines, it is likely we will be able to re-open on 4th July 2020 however this is only if the 5 steps set out by government are met. We are writing to provide you with some information and conditions that must be met to allow our parks to open safely:

  • we will be operating a one way system in our receptions, which have been clearly marked to allow social distancing
  • we will continue to operate a telephone only service for payments, gas bottle sales and complaints
  • the bars / restaurants / swimming pools and play parks will remain closed
  • please walk freely around the parks observing 2m social distance at all times from fellow owners, guests and the park team
  • you are obligated to report symptoms of feeling unwell to dedicated park coronavirus telephone number 01704 215431
  • enjoy the social space on your pitch for your own group only and you should not mix with other groups

I know the biggest question for you all will be around the pitch fees. We are looking at different options to help compensate our seasonal touring customers but please bear with us a little longer until we are back fully operational when we can investigate some options more thoroughly.

Update 9th June 2020

Firstly, and most importantly we hope you and your family are well and staying safe. We are really looking forward to re-opening our parks and welcoming all our owners back, however these are strange and challenging times for us all.

  • we will continue to operate a telephone only service for payments, gas bottle sales, fault reporting and complaints
  • the bars / restaurants / swimming pools and play parks will remain closed
  • if presently allowed under the terms of the licence agreement, holiday caravans/ lodges may not be sublet unless or until national legislation permits holidays
  • please walk freely around the parks observing 2m social distance at all times from fellow owners, guests and the park team
  • you are obligated to report symptoms of feeling unwell to dedicated park coronavirus telephone number 01704 215 431
  • enjoy the social space on your pitch for your own group only and you should not mix with other groups
  • flush through water systems to clear out stagnant water, especially shower heads which should be held away from the face to avoid inhaling spray

I know the biggest question for you all will be around site fees and I would like to take this opportunity to be honest and open with you and hope you can understand all of our parks have had significant costs even whilst we have been closed.

We have been running a skeleton staff to ensure the safety and security of the parks and your holiday homes. The parks survival is always due to the seasonal income we receive which as you can imagine has been somewhat reduced. The Government is helping to some extent however not all of the help applies to us and the help we do receive will not be available immediately.

This said we are pleased to announce that due to the unfortunate situation, there will be no site fee increase for the 2021 season and we are looking at different options to help compensate our owners.

Please bear with us a little longer until we are back fully operational when we can investigate some options more thoroughly.

Update 17th June 2020

  • Please walk freely around our parks observing 2m social distance at all times from fellow guests and the park team

In these unprecedented times, there is a lot of worry, fear and uncertainty throughout our fantastic industry. We would first like to say a huge Thank You to everyone that has supported the decisions we have had to take and we will be looking forward to welcoming you all back on park as soon as possible. If we ALL follow the guidelines set out by the UK Government then we feel this could be sooner rather than later.

Covid:19 is effecting us all in many different ways, our primary focus at this time has to be on the health and safety of our colleagues, owners and holiday makers. We also understand that you will all have many questions. All of our parks have significant costs even whilst we are closed. We are running a skeleton staff to ensure safety and to be able to open our doors as soon as it is safe to do so. The parks survival is always due to the seasonal income we receive which as you are aware has completely stopped, and we are not sure for how long. The Government is helping to some extent however not ALL of the help applies to us. The help we do receive will also not be available immediately. We would like to once again ask that you allow time for the parks to be back operational before we can clearly answer some of your questions regarding site fees, opening times, utility bills and the selling of your caravan. Please also note that we will not be sending out any invoices, bills until after we are back operational.

From our Family to yours, stay home, stay safe & we look forward to seeing you all soon,

Once again Thank You for your understanding and co-operation,

Harrison Leisure

  • Gas bottles may be ordered on Monday / Wednesday / Friday from 10am – 2pm ONLY using the following numbers
    • Riverside – 01704 228886

This is to enable us to offer a basic service to those who need it.

Once again we urge all our owners to take heed of the Governments current advice to help stop the spread:

Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence. Not taking these steps puts additional pressure on communities and services that are already at risk.

We would like to thank you for your continued support, in the most difficult of times and help our team and yourselves keep safe.

Updated on 22/03/2020 –

Here at Harrison Holidays we have been closely following Government advice in relation to COVID-19 to reduce the risk to all our guests, owners and our team members.

It is with a heavy heart we regret to notify our holiday makers Harrison Holidays has made the decision to temporarily close our parks from 11am Monday 23rd March to Friday 17th April and will be continually reviewing our re-open date in line with the Governments advice.

This has been a very difficult decision to make for the Harrison Family however we feel we need to play our part to help increase social distancing measures and for the safety of our guests and teams during these unprecedented times.

If you have a holiday booked with us in the coming weeks our team will be in touch with you to offer the different options available. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience.

From our family to yours, we hope you are all keeping well and staying safe.

A message from the government & BH&HPA Governing body:
