Covid-19 Park Information

We are contacting all our guests who have been affected by the recent park closures with the options available for their booking. We are operating with a very small team so please bear with us. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Update 11th May 2020

Further to the Prime Ministers announcement last night all Harrison Holidays parks remain closed. Our parks will re-open when it is advised to do so from the government.

Holidays

The health, safety and security of all our guests remains our absolute priority, unfortunately this means we now have to cancel all holiday reservations that are due to arrive at our parks until the 31st May.

To ensure your holiday is not lost we are crediting your booking account with all monies paid to the value of your booking.  You will be able to use your credit at anyone of the Harrison Holiday parks for a future break, whereby we will look forward to welcoming you and providing you with a fantastic holiday that I am sure will be much needed.  You will not need to contact us as we have already applied your credit to your booking account.

Please can we advise that you do not try to contact the office as due to restrictions still in place for the leisure industry our offices are closed. A small team of skeleton staff are still currently employed to deal with any on park emergencies.  If in the event that you do wish to discuss your holiday you will be able to e-mail or telephone once our parks re-open, whereby we will be more than happy to deal with your queries.

Owners and Seasonals

To everyone that has supported the decisions we have had to take so far, we appreciate your support and understanding. We are looking forward to welcoming you all back on park as soon as possible.

We are running a skeleton staff to ensure the safety and security of our parks and ensure we are able to open our doors as soon as it is safe to do so.

We would like to once again ask that you allow time for the parks to be back operational before we can clearly answer some of your questions regarding site fees, opening times, utility bills and the selling of your caravan.

We will keep you updated as to when the government allows holiday parks to re-open their offices.

From our family to yours, we wish you well, keep safe and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Harrison Holiday Covid:19 Update:

In these unprecedented times, there is a lot of worry, fear and uncertainty throughout our fantastic industry. We would first like to say a huge Thank You to everyone that has supported the decisions we have had to take and we will be looking forward to welcoming you all back on park as soon as possible. If we ALL follow the guidelines set out by the UK Government then we feel this could be sooner rather than later.

Covid:19 is effecting us all in many different ways, our primary focus at this time has to be on the health and safety of our colleagues, owners and holiday makers. We also understand that you will all have many questions. All of our parks have significant costs even whilst we are closed. We are running a skeleton staff to ensure safety and to be able to open our doors as soon as it is safe to do so. The parks survival is always due to the seasonal income we receive which as you are aware has completely stopped, and we are not sure for how long. The Government is helping to some extent however not ALL of the help applies to us. The help we do receive will also not be available immediately. We would like to once again ask that you allow time for the parks to be back operational before we can clearly answer some of your questions regarding site fees, opening times, utility bills and the selling of your caravan. Please also note that we will not be sending out any invoices, bills until after we are back operational.

From our Family to yours, stay home, stay safe & we look forward to seeing you all soon,

Once again Thank You for your understanding and co-operation,

Harrison Leisure

Updated on 24/03/2020 –

Further to the Prime Ministers speech at 8.30pm on Monday 23rd March the Governments guidance published last night confirms the business and premises which must now shut and must remain closed includes:

              Caravan parks / sites

Except:

Where people live permanently in caravan parks or are staying in caravan parks as interim abodes where their primary residence is not available, they may continue to do so’

Harrison Leisure will therefore be making the following changes to how we operate to ensure the safety of our team and caravan owners

  • Gas bottles may be ordered on Monday / Wednesday / Friday from 10am – 2pm ONLY using the following numbers
    • Riverside – 01704 228886
    • Brooklyn – 01704 228534 opt 2
    • Wild Rose – 017683 51077 opt 2 (excludes Wednesday)
    • Percy Wood – 01670 787649 opt 2
    • White Rose – 01845 501215
    • Royal Umpire – 01772 600257 opt 2
    • Abbey Farm – 01695 572686 opt 2

All other phone lines will not be in use for at least the next 3 weeks as per the Governments current time line. Other than ordering gas please only contact us or the warden numbers in an absolute emergency.

This is to enable us to offer a basic service to those who need it.

Once again we urge all our owners to take heed of the Governments current advice to help stop the spread:

Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence. Not taking these steps puts additional pressure on communities and services that are already at risk.

We would like to thank you for your continued support, in the most difficult of times and help our team and yourselves keep safe.

Updated on 22/03/2020 –

Here at Harrison Holidays we have been closely following Government advice in relation to COVID-19 to reduce the risk to all our guests, owners and our team members.

It is with a heavy heart we regret to notify our holiday makers Harrison Holidays has made the decision to temporarily close our parks from 11am Monday 23rd March to Friday 17th April and will be continually reviewing our re-open date in line with the Governments advice.

This has been a very difficult decision to make for the Harrison Family however we feel we need to play our part to help increase social distancing measures and for the safety of our guests and teams during these unprecedented times.

If you have a holiday booked with us in the coming weeks our team will be in touch with you to offer the different options available. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience.

From our family to yours, we hope you are all keeping well and staying safe.

A message from the government & BH&HPA Governing body:
